We are excited to announce that we have updated six essential payment plugins for Phoca Cart to be fully native and ready for Joomla 6!
With the recent release of Joomla 6, ensuring your e-commerce store remains secure, modern, and fully functional is our top priority. Following the full compatibility of Phoca Cart version 5.2.2 with Joomla 6, we have now completed the crucial next step: updating our most popular payment gateways.
They all are native written on a new architecture and no Joomla 5 / Joomla 6 Backward Compatibility Plugin is needed.
Store owners can now upgrade their Joomla core with the confidence that their entire checkout process—from cart to payment confirmation—will operate seamlessly on the new platform.
The Updated Joomla 6 Ready Payment Plugins Are:
- Klarna Payments HPP for Phoca Cart (already based on a new architecture, small improvements in ver. 1.0.1).
- Stripe for Phoca Cart (updated to ver. 2.3.0).
- Stripe Checkout for Phoca Cart (updated to ver. 2.2.0).
- Mollie for Phoca Cart (updated to ver. 1.1.0).
- QuickPay for Phoca Cart (updated to ver. 2.2.0).
- Authorize.net for Phoca Cart (already based on a new architecture, small improvements in ver. 2.0.1).
These updates ensure that your store continues to offer a wide range of payment methods, from global solutions like Stripe, Klarna and Authorize.net to region-specific favorites like Mollie and QuickPay, all within the modern and secure framework of Joomla 6.
