Built-in Points System in NorrCompetition

NorrCompetition includes a built-in points system that allows you to assign point values to specific user actions within voting contests. For example, you can configure the system to deduct 1 point for voting or 100 points for submitting an entry. If a user does not have enough points in their balance, a warning message will be displayed, for instance:

“Insufficient points. This action requires 2 points, current balance is 0.
Top up balance”

Additionally, point rules can be customized per contest, providing a flexible approach tailored to the needs of each individual competition. This is the core functionality of the integrated points system.

You can install only the integration plugin you need.

Is a NorrCompetition subscription included in the User Points Pack?

No. The NorrCompetition User Points Pack does not include the main NorrCompetition product. To use the add-on, an active NorrCompetition installation is required.

If you would like to get everything in one package, consider the Developer Pack, which includes both NorrCompetition and User Points at a better combined price.

Can you help with configuring a third-party extension or service?

Our support covers all products you have an active subscription to on our website, including installation and configuration of the User Points add-on itself.

However, users are expected to be familiar with the third-party extension or service they wish to integrate with. Assistance with installing or configuring third-party software according to your custom requirements may be considered a custom service.
