I updated to Joomla 5.0.1 and have these report logs errors.

plg_competition_estream.php + plg_competition_notifications.php --->   com_competition    Event onContentBeforeDisplay only accepts String results.

Hello!

Thanks for reporting. Joomla 5 is strict :) Found this one for the core:

https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/41611

Need to check from where it comes in NorrCompetition as both competition_estream and competition_notifications.php does not use onContentBeforeDisplay.

Well I cannot reproduce it on our test server.

Can you please provide more info -

  1. ln what file of logs directory do you have these log records?
  2. When exactly does it happen? May be when there is a voting for a user or some other event.
  3. If possible please enable Debug. That should help to trace the source of the error.
