#233 Users not able to upload entires

Hi there,

After a server change, I’m experiencing an issue where users are not able to upload entries.

When trying to upload an entry, it simply says “error”.

Do you perhaps have any idea what could be causing this and how to solve it?

Hi Sven,

  1. Please check out the correct paths in configuration.php of your Joomla:  $tmp_path  and $log_path. When a site moves to the new server, these values should be updated.
  2. Please reproduce the issue again and see error.log generated by server.
  3. Make sure there are correct permissions and user. 755 for folders and 644 for files and the owner (user) should be the same.

Hi Sulher,

I’ve sorted it by switching to GD image processing, as ImageMagick is not installed on the new server yet.

I think this was the issue.
