How can we integrate the Share field in Yootheme Pro Template?

This is the application for ZOO CCK.
Do you mean you need a specific element for YOOtheme Pro that provides social share buttons? Or you need to display these social share buttons inside ZOO template but you do not know how to set up?

The configuration of the ZOO template within the backend is not the problem, although we don't use the standard blog application show in your video tutorial. We use the framerate application for shelter animals.
The problem is the integration of the social share element within the YOOtheme pro template (example: https://labusfamily.de/zuhause-gesucht/hunde/anila) as dynamic content.

First of all, I am sorry for the misprint - in my previous message I called social share as a ZOO CCK app. this is not app, but element.
Unfortunately, we do not have a site with ZOO and YOOtheme Pro integration to test with, so probably this question is more about architecture of these solutions.
Social Share is designed as a typical ZOO element.
Is there a way to display other ZOO's elements but you have a problem with social share only?

Hello,
We do not have problems with other ZOO elements. Images, Videos, Text, Links, Buttons....everything ist working fine as dynamic content with YOOtheme Pro.
But how can we integrate social share to be shown on the frontpage?
If social share is not working with Yootheme Pro it is completely useless for us ;-(

Hi Sabine,
If you build a layout for ZOO and use YOOtheme Pro elements with dynamic condition (like grid, image, buttons) - these elements belong to YOOtheme Pro and operate with ZOO content -that's correct.
I do not know is there a way to display elements for ZOO CCK inside the YOO layout. Maybe there is a core element or plugin for YOOtheme Pro that suggests displaying ZOO element inside the YOOtheme Pro.
But it is better to adress this question to YOOtheme team like
"Is there a way to display ZOO element inside YOOtheme Pro layout via core plugin?"
If it is not, then our product Social Share for ZOO does not meet your needs and you need another plugin for YOOtheme Pro (refund is possible).
This product is in our roadmap and we will start developing it a bit later.

I'll ask YOOtheme, but I doubt they have a solution. It's more likely they'll refer me to the plugin developer, which is you.
Is there already a timeline for further development of Social Share?

Here is the answer from YOOtheme:
Hi Sabine,
no, unfortunaley, you cannot simply add any Element of a ZOO item into a YOOtheme Pro layout. You have to map the item values via dynamic content to an existing page builder element or use a dedicated system element.
I don’t know the “Social Share” extension you mentioned, but from looking at the website I think it simply adds buttons to your ZOO item page that open a URL to share the link to the ZOO item page on whatever social network you selected, much like the share option in browser settings and on mobile phones.
If this is assumption correct, then you could consider using a different extension that does the same thing but for YOOtheme Pro builder layouts. You can take a look at the extensions page to search for extensinos that match your needs.
For example, there is a free version of Essential Addons for YOOtheme Pro which offers a Social Sharing element. It is a third party product and, thus, supported by the developer not by YOOtheme. As it’s free, you could simply try if it fits your needs. If you have further questions about this extension, please contact ZOOlanders support (the developer of this extension).

Hi Sabine,
Thank you for providing the additional information from YOOtheme team. So, in your case you need the element for YOOtheme Pro, not for ZOO CCK.
Currently we are focused on adapting NorrCompetition extension to Joomla 6. And then we can start working on the products for YOOtheme Pro.
I guess it will be in February or March.
Now we can make refund now and inform you about releasing the social share element for ZOO later, when it will be released.
Is it sounds good for you?
