With opening a new series for NorrCompetition, we could not miss an amazing application that integrates voting contests with the popular social networking extension JomSocial. Now, the actual version of our App is Joomla 4 and JomSocial 4.8+ native.
This add-on delivers as an Application and the stream plugin.
The stream plugin records actions that has been performing by a user and provides it to JomSocial for further appearance in the stream/timeline. The Application is installable and shows a list of entries that been submitted by the user as a contestant.

This add-on processes the following actions:
- Voting for entry
- Contest creation
- Entry submission
