Hi this is just an idea that comes up and maybe it could be something interesting :)

To use Norrnext Competition for my user case(s) It would be very good if you could also have a "comment" insert field for the voters votes below image, video, voting heart,.. where users could write some comments to why they vote, what they think about the voting object etc It could be like a comment field under the vote and the different comments could have settings for invisable for others/or not but seen then only for admin and the voter himself.

So for being able to fill in that field/vote you need you to register and login to be able to vote and do the comment to your vote.

If that worked with Joomlas fields etc or your field similar you have too then you can add some more fields also to be required or not to fill in with connection to the voting process.

That would broden the scope for votings. Example you could set up products like phone models ie Samsung xxx versus Iphone yyy and have supporting companies promoting your votings etc. They would be seeing feedback about their brands in this way. Cars and cars brands against each other etc the possibilities would be more against the product proffessional world and you would have more flexibility to create new voting categories types.
