#164 Not able to delete Contest (From Trash), Entries.. no option showing

Not able to delete Contest (From Trash), Entries.. no option showing

Also not able to add Fields (existing/created) to Contest. Drop drop down of Fields does not show it. For Ex. i have created Name, Mobile number and City. City is now showing in Drop Down so not able to Add

Not sure what do you mean by no option showing?

The standard way to delete item in Joomla is to check item, use button Actions and then select Trash. If you want to empty the trash - click on Filter Options, then select state Trashed and click on the button Empty Trash.

Note, you can delete the contest only after you completely delete all entries of this contest.

And your fields are not showing because you set them as type Title. Set to text, for example. Please read more about field in our docs > Field Types | NorrCompetition | NorrNext Documentation

Thanks Dmitrijs,

Now Empty Trash worked for Contest and Category. But i am still not able to delete trashed Field. When i tried to use Empty Trash, it jumps to the Contests options and shows error https://postimg.cc/NyzhdrFN

The details are in the log file. Please examine NorrCompetition's log file (see file in /administrator/logs/) and provide details here.

if you can do it, please do it. We are starting our first contest on 10th June, so i am expecting the website to be ready before 5th June.
