I have examined your site and from the quick look I see the NorrCompetition's layouts were overriden and there are some other issues related to customization. At least, I noticed Vote icon which is neither clickable nor displays a tooltip that voting is inactive. It looks like a bug. But there is an issue with tooltip. Maybe there are some other issues which exist.
Well, about the double content. The component's theme was changed since the release of NorrCompetition ver.2.0 and I can suppose the site developed has customized an old theme which is compatible with NorrCompetition 1.8. In such a way, the component was updated to its latest version while the theme that was customized by site developer is built on an old architecture and it leads to what we see now. Numerous design issues may occur since there are two different themes for the component.
How to resolve this problem? I see the following ways:
1. Refuse from the existing custom NorrCompetition theme and use the default theme that ships with latest NorrCompetition. You can see how it looks like on the demo: https://norrcompetition.norrnext.com/contests
2. Ask site developer to fix the issues.
3. Correspond the tasks for further work on the theme override if the custom layout is needed. If even looks like an existing theme, it's better to create an override using actual theme to avoid possible conflicts. This is an commercial task. A detailed Specifications will be needed.
