Hello,

I am trying to get the data from the upload form but I receive no data at all. Tried all kind of permissions but still don't get it to work. I only want registered users only to be able to participate and modify there entry after contest is started. The public and registered users must be able to vote.

Please take care that no votes are removed as a contest is currently active.

Can you take a look at my settings if they are OK?

Hi NIco,

Can you provide more information about "I receive no data at all", please? It is not so clear. Are there fields there to fill out or you get an error message like if there is no permissions?

I guess there are the following potential problems:

  1. If fields are being displayed but form cannot be submitted, it might looks like a script conflict caused by 3rd party extension.
  2. If no fields are being displayed, it is kind of configuration and some options should be enabled.

Hello,

The form fields can be filled and photos can be added to upload but when you hit the "send" button nothing happens. If you want to check it out i sent login details in the first mail.

I've reproduced the problem on your site. I see that the picture form cleans while other fields remain filled out and no entry is submitted. After investigating the problem, I've found the reason. See what's happening on Cassiopeia template:

"The maximum number of entries for this contest has been reached".
You need to increase number of entries (in global options or in contest settings). See documentation.

The second step is: your template does not display Joomla alert messages. And that's why a user sees nothing during entry submission. I've checked out and this problem is confirmed. Just try to use incorrect credentials when you log in to your site on the front-end. There should be default Joomla alert message informing about incorrect credentials. But this alert is not displaying.
Please contact Gantry developers to resolve this issue.

And a little recommendation: you can install Spanish translation of NorrCompetition. It is not 100% completed but anyway, it helps.
