Hello!

I have installed an configured norrcompetition component and created some contests assigned permission but after filling entry submission form it's proceding to next it still loading entry form again and again please resolve this issue i have to start contests from today

Thanks for contacting us.
You had to enable Uikit framework in NorrCompetition options since the component template is based on Uikit 3.

I enabled this option and all works fine now.

hello i tried to upload pictures but still same issue from user side and from admin side too pictures are not uploading after clicking on submit forms loads again

Why you did disable Uikit in NorrCompetition options again?
This option should be enabled if you do not use Uikit based template.

still same issues i tried many times and even changed browser to som time error occored when i tried to upload image

its disablled according to your instruction but still unable to upload image even now getting error occored again and again when tried to upload image if any other image selected by component but not uploading the form

Hi Zeeshan,

Please try to use for watermark an image file without spaces in the name of file. For example instead of NTP Logo Final.png use NTP_Logo_Final.png.

Because of spaces the PHP script cannot read the image file path. We need to think how to fix it on the component level.

ok thank you after setting up the watermark logo system is working fine but there is another problem we're testing system on multiple systems and mobiles maximum times we got an error on uploading pictures "error occored" in red text so this is very bad situation for us we're about to launch the competition but system is not working fine the max upload file size is increased upto 8 mb but this error is coming again and again.

 

please resolve this issue too or guide me how to manage this issue

It is not a maximum upload size problem.

The error comes from the outside of the component. I just tried to upload different pictures and sometimes there is a network error on upload. See the picture https://postimg.cc/cKYMdh54.

This is something that the component cannot control and throws an error because of the not uploaded picture. To ensure that our component works as expected you can try it on our server here:

Try to upload different pictures with different sizes. There will be no error.

ok i got it but kindly suggest me what to do i know your component is working fine but currently at my end i am facing problems you can suggest me what to do now to resolve this issue bcz this is very important i already have announced the competition dates it's starting from tomorrow and i am stuck in this situation i have to resolve this now you can guide me how can i manage this

Zeeshan, we made additional tests and the error occurs randomly. The same photo can be uploaded and cannot be uploaded after some time. PHP limits are ok. There is a problem with your hosting/server.
We would recommend you the following steps:
1. Choose any other hosting provider. They usually suggest trial period or suggest moneyback. Make copy of your website and temporary launch the site on the new hosting anywhere in subdomain or in subfolder. Make tests. If all is fine, then you can stay with the new hosting.
2. Contact support team of existing hosting provider and describe problems step-by-step. And you will have a copy of your site running on another hosting to make sure the problem leads on server side.

In addition: I also noticed there is a 'My entry' menu item which leads to 404. It seems it was a link to the entry which is no longer existing and this menu item should be disabled while 'My entries' should remains.

hello now i'm facing an other issue can you please help me to resolve this that when someone trying to submit entry in the message appears that the maximum number entries for this contest has been reached how can i increase the limite to infinity

 

my contest is on and ads are running on social media many participents are registered but unable to post the entry

 

please help me to resoleve this issue asap

Please submit a new ticket. One question = one ticket.

Did you resolve the previous issue with hosting, btw?
