Hi!

Website and Phoca Cart is in Swedish language and primary currency is SEK (Swedish crown) with option to change to Euro. When I confirm order when currency is SEK, Stripe shows exact ammount to pay, but when I use Euro there is shown totaly different ammount, usualy much smaller than what is needed to pay.

Customer will be charged with correct ammount but this detail can confuse customers. For example on screenshot bellow, actual ammount is 34,36€ but  Stripe payment confirmation button shows 3,01€

Is this Stripe bug and can this be fixed?

Hi Nikola,

As far as I understood, you are using a Phoca Cart module to change currency.

Do change currency via that module on the checkout page?

Could you give a little more information, please? I'd like to understand how to reproduce this issue step-by-step.

Thank you.

Is it be possible to get temporary access to your site to see settings and investigate the issue?
If it is not possible, I could ask to show me currency settings and I'll try to emulate it on dev site.

Best regards, Eugene

I change currency before I put article in the cart.

I left credentials for website. You can test it. It is in test stage so you can create orders with Stripe development cards etc.

Nikola, thank you for the credentials. I see you are using PC 5.0 beta and Joomla 5.1. It is interesting.

Can you insall a default PayPal payment plugin, please? (or let me doing that). Its configuration is not nececessary. What is needed is to make sure which amount it sent to the payment service.
I would like to check - if the amount will be wrong too, then it is a PC issue and we need to contact Jan. If the amount will be correct, then it is an issue on our side.

Nidzo

You have freedom to do anything you think it will help to determine issue.

Feel free to make necessary changes.

Thanks!

Hi Nikola,

Thanky you for contacting us. Indeed, there was an issue in our payment plugin which occurs when the multicurrency is in use (double calculation of the price). A new version released. I have been updated the plugin on your site.
Please verify the checkout process.

Best regards,
Eugene

Thanks guys! It works great. I had no doubt that you would not solve the problem. Can I now restore the backup from before and install the latest version of the plugin?

sulpher
Sure, Nikola, do not hesitate to restore the backup and install the latest version of the plugin.
Thank you.
