Stripe plugins for VirtueMart Backported to Joomla 3
Despite the fact Joomla 3 has reached its End of Life, there are still many sites which work on Joomla 3 and VirtueMart due to complex changes in the code which which makes it hard or expensive to migrate the site to the actual Joomla version. We have backported both Stipe payment plugins to run on Joomla 3 and VirtueMart 4.
The following plugins were adapted to work on Joomla 3 under VirtueMart 4:
- Stripe for VirtueMart
- Stripe Checkout for VirtueMart
Since the structure of Joomla 3 and Joomla 4+ differs, we have prepared separated versions with the same release version but new files have "Joomla 3" note in the filename. You can install it as a typical Joomla extension.
There is no need to buy a new subscription for backported versions. They are available for all users with active subscription.
